Hi! I’m Kirsten “Kirt” Hill, and I’m running for re-election on the Campbell County Soil and Water Conservation Board.

Please vote for me on November 3rd.

Why I’m running

I am running for the Soil and Water Conservation District board again because I believe we are deeply connected and influenced by our environment. There is more work to do, and I’m up-and-running with four years of Board experience under my belt! I want to ensure Campbell County’s forests, farmers, and food are protected.

I am one of two candidates running from the northern part of Campbell County. I care about all of CampbeIl, and I will be sure to represent the interests and needs of the more urban and northern cities. Northern city taxes fund much of the county’s resources - let’s ensure representation on the Board!

What the Soil and Water Conservation Board does

Your Campbell County Soil and Water Conservation Board is a team of 7 Board members and along with a few employees that partner with those living in the county to provide natural resource sustainability management programs. The Board does this by encouraging use of best practices and by providing programs to educate, give financial assistance and share expertise.

How my experience will help the Conservation Board:

As a data professional, I drive usage of data to make decisions. The Board can be hesitant to try new things, so I work with the team to run tests and measure their success.

My contributions from the last four years include surveying our citizens so we can focus on what YOU want, and advocating for the Northern part of the county, resulting in updating a program for urban gardeners.

Let’s keep driving the Soil and Water Conservation work forward:

  • Continue increasing awareness of grants and programs with marketing coverage so citizens can be aware of resources and fun events available to them

  • Use data to make decisions

  • Try new things! Replicate successes from other county Conservation Boards here in Campbell County

My background

I have lived in Campbell County for 13 years. My husband and I live in Fort Thomas with our son. I work for an analytics company, providing data and consulting to consumer packaged goods manufacturers. I enjoy nature via hiking, farmer’s markets, animals, and farm to table restaurants.

I am a graduate of the 2022 Campbell County Citizens Academy. I also have a Masters of Business with a focus in Data.
